This is an amazing plate for any collector made by Lazarus Straus & Sons (1809-1898) in Limoges, France. The pattern is of delicate pastel flowers and elegant gold highlighted scalloped edges. It measures 9" in diameter and has only one small chip on the underside lift (see last photo). Kovels estimates this plate to be from 1880. The makers mark is still clear and reads L S & S Limoges France with an additional stamp that reads France. Unbelievable condition for its age! Also included is another vintage plate.
