【STORY】
Ji-yoon (Lee Young-ae), a part-time lecturer at a university specializing in Korean art history, is in charge of presenting the painting "Geumgangsan-do," which is said to be a discovery of the century, but a forgery is suspected.
Disappointed, Ji-yoon goes to Italy to attend an important academic conference to get a professorship.
There, Ji-yoon accidentally obtains Saimdang's (Lee Young-ae / in two roles) diary.
Following the seal on the book, she visits an old house, where she finds a "Portrait of a Beauty" depicting a woman who looks just like her.
As she reads the diary, it tells of the sad love between Saimdang and Lee Gyeom (Song Seung-heon), two artists, and the whereabouts of the genuine "Geumgangsan-do"...
