- The clay jars used in Korea to ripen fermented foods such as kimchi, soybean paste, red pepper paste, and soy sauce were made in a mini size so that they can be stored at home and in the refrigerator. They look cute in pictures, but they are even cuter in person.
- Onggi is a traditional culture that has been with Korea's long history and is still a practical food storage container used today. Onggi made from Korean red clay and natural glaze is also called "Breathing Jar". Air naturally seeps into the jar, creating ventilation.
- Can use them as a sauce container in the kitchen, and they are also great as a decoration or gift. In Korea, there is also a custom of placing salt in an onngi at the front door to ward off bad luck.
- Also useful for storing foods such as kimchi, pickles, sauerkraut and meat.
- Easy to Care - When cleaning ONGGI, mix baking soda or vinegar with water. Wipe the inside and outside with a soft cloth or scrub brush and rinse lightly with clean water. Let dry until the water dries completely.
