How the Gruntch Stole Christmas is a fan-made ROM hack of Banjo-Kazooie, created by Mark Kurko, that replaces the original game's content with a Dr. Seuss-inspired Christmas story. The hack features a villain called the Gruntch, who is stealing Christmas, and Banjo and Kazooie must stop him by collecting Christmas tokens instead of Jiggies. The mod consists of two acts, with the first in a Whoville-like setting and the second taking place in the Gruntch's lair, and incorporates various modifications to the original game's assets and mechanics.
